Hillside Landscape & Design

Caleb and his team were professional, courteous, and talented as they reset my flagstones for the walkway leading to my front door. I also appreciated Caleb’s creativity when we had to change our original plans due to discovering large tree roots. In the end, his solution made for a better outcome than I could have imagined. I’d hire this team again in a heartbeat!

Easy to work with and excellent craftsmanship.

Hillside Landscape & Design did a great job installing exterior lighting for several of our trees. Caleb was timely, pleasant, and had excellent ideas about placement and creating depth with the lighting. He used quality fixtures and even came back after dark to fine tune everything. We are very happy with the results and would definitely use Hillside again.

Caleb and the team at Hillside Landscaping and Design are outstanding!!! Caleb is a true professional who approaches every project like it’s being done for his own family. He is very consultative, professional, reliable & is committed to doing projects which exceed the homeowner’s expectations. He truly takes pride in doing exceptional work for his clients. Caleb took a “rough patio design” I provided & transformed it into a beautiful paver patio. The team is very friendly, respectable, and hard working. I’ve had several people see my new paver patio & are absolutely stunned with the beauty and quality of workmanship. I will definitely be working with Caleb for all my future landscaping plans. He not only met my expectations, he far exceeded them! I give Caleb & his team at Hillside Landscaping & Design the highest recommendation!!!

Caleb and his team were thorough and efficient. We love our new patio, it fully met our expectations.

Caleb at Hillside Landscape and Design knows what he is talking about when it comes to landscaping. He's always willing to answer questions, explain things in a way that's easy to understand, and offer honest advice. It's refreshing to work with someone who's knowledgeable, approachable, and clearly takes pride in what they do. I'd have no problem recommending him to anyone looking for a landscaper.

Hillside Landscape & Design did a fantastic job leveling and updating our walkway. Over time, the foundation below the stones had shifted, causing the stones to spread apart and become uneven. Not only were Caleb and the team able to reuse the existing stones to make the pathway more attractive and safe again, they were also professional, efficient and pleasure to work with. The photos below show before (uneven, spaces between stones) and after (stones replaced and pathway even).

In a world where many shy away from hard-earned work, Caleb thrives there! I am excited for future collaborations with Caleb and the Hillside Landscape & Design team. While we have not contracted with the team yet, as someone with a design eye, I can see his work reflects quality, intentionality and client care earned brick, by thoughtfully placed, brick. Caleb's skill, vision and dedication make him one to watch. Book him now so you can brag later that you knew him when. Caleb, the koi pond, it just may need to be a thing for me!

Cannot say enough good things about this company!! Caleb, the owner, is an awesome breath of fresh air in his industry! He holds degrees in plant science, and it really shows in the choices in soft and hardscape designs they come up with. Hillside Landscape has also done a ton of outdoor lighting, so basically, if you want a company that can do more than just plant some bushes and put up some retaining walls, call Hillside; they can design whatever outdoor vibe you're trying to capture.

The proprietor of this company is an amazing young man. He works magic with any and all dimensions of landscaping including plants, mulch, lighting… He laid beautiful and easy to clean pavers on our new patio at East Coast Custard Lyndhurst. His rates are fair. We loved working with him.

Caleb, the owner, and his team did a fantastic job on our patio installation. He replaced dated materials and design with beautiful new materials and expanded the usable space. They were efficient, hard working and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Hillside Landscape and Design for all your patio and landscaping needs.

I had a new patio installed. Caleb was able to incorporate an existing water feature and existing barn stones into the design. His thoughtful design and attention to detail were incredible. I would highly recommend him for any project and look forward to working with him again in the future!

It’s hard to find someone in landscaping who does an exceptional job every single time. Most landscapers try to juggle yard maintenance with construction and hardscaping — and it’s tough to do both well. That’s where Caleb and Hillside Landscape & Design truly stand out. They focus entirely on what they do best — paver patios, walkways, yard drainage solutions, and outdoor lighting. Their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to doing things right show in every finished project. I’ve referred Caleb to several of my contacts, and Hillside has also completed work for me personally — each project has turned out beautifully. Caleb has a real passion for outdoor lighting design, which can completely transform a property and highlight your home’s best features. If you’re thinking about enhancing your outdoor space, I’d be happy to make a personal introduction to Caleb. You’ll appreciate his personable nature, professionalism, and the outstanding quality of his work.
